We are a four piece band from Brisbane, formed in April 2001. We draw inspiration from such acts as Stereolab, The Carpenters, Red House Painters, Cat Power, Art of Fighting and the contemporary Brisbane music scene. When we have to we sometimes describe our music as atmospheric indie rock or something similarly vague.

We feature members of other Brisbane bands The Rational Academy, The Mean Streaks, Ho2, Ctrl Alt Delete and D-Ko.

Delpino consists of Meredith McHugh on vox and guitar, Liesl Pfeffer on bass, Kris Swales on drums, and Choomby van Rensburg on guitar and vox.

In September 2004 we released our debut EP The H Is Silent at Rics Cafe. Our plans for 2005 are to record another EP and finally play some shows out of town.
